You are here: » Special Tool Session
A special tool session will be held during the summer school. The session will be devoted to the demonstration of commercial and research tools supporting model-driven development processes, with a specific focus on real-time embedded systems. The purpose of the session is both to provide school participants with an overview of existing MDD tools, but also to enable tools providers to reach the highly focused audience of the school.
The tools demonstrations session will take place on the morning of the third day of the school (22nd of April).
Please note that, since the number of tools demos will be limited, a selection is likely to be performed by the school organization committee.
MDD4DRES is looking for commercial and research tool demonstrations in the following areas: generic and domain-specific modelling, models analysis (e.g. schedulability & performances analysis), model transformations, code generation, etc. Tools which provide specific features for real-time embedded systems will be particularly welcomed.
If you want to perform a tool demonstration, please send a request via the easychair website submission here or directly to Mireille Blay-Fornarino.
Requests describing tools should include, at least, the following topics: - Name of the tool, - Name(s) of the person(s) presenting the demo at the Tool session, - A link to a web site presenting the tool, - A short abstract presenting the tool.
We strongly encourage tool providers to register and participate to the school: we apply the student rate to all tool providers who perform a demo during the school.
However, it is also possible to attend only the demonstration day. In this case, the access to the school is free.
Please send your tool demonstrations propositions before the 15th of March 2009. Acceptance notifications will be e-mailed as soon as a decision is made.
